LED Strips Special
Sometimes a standard LED strip simply will not cut it—whether you need to illuminate around sharp corners, squeeze into an ultra-narrow groove, or generate specialized UV blacklight effects. Specialty LED strips (including bendable zig-zag, side-emitting, and ultra-slim designs) are purpose-built for non-standard installations where every single millimeter and beam angle counts. Within our LED technology portfolio, you will find solutions tailored to solve even the most intricate design challenges. At our facility in Zlín, we will gladly demonstrate firsthand what these advanced engineering highlights can achieve.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
What are Side View (edge-emitting) strips good for?
While standard strips shine perpendicularly upwards, these models emit light sideways. They are utterly brilliant for edge-lighting plexiglass or for installation in very narrow light boxes and channel letters where there is no room for light to reflect off the back wall. They allow you to create incredibly thin yet evenly glowing elements.
What is a Zig-Zag strip and why does it save me work?
A Zig-Zag (or S-type) strip features a specially shaped printed circuit board that allows it to bend sideways directly on the mounting surface. If you need to trace logo curves, rounded corners, or waves, you don't have to cut the strip at every bend and complexly wire everything together. You simply shape it as needed, and it holds its direction.
Where can UV LED strips be used?
UV (ultraviolet) strips are not just for a disco "blacklight" effect where white clothing glows. They are used in advertising to highlight fluorescent colors, in checking security features on banknotes, or even in industry for curing special adhesives and varnishes. They possess a specific wavelength that reveals what is invisible to the naked eye.
Are there also strips with extremely high CRI in this category?
Yes, you will also find strips here for the most demanding applications where color fidelity matters. Strips with a high Color Rendering Index (CRI > 90 or 95) are essential in galleries, lighting food display counters, or in dressing rooms where the color of the illuminated object must look exactly as it does in daylight.
