LED Modules
LED modules are the unsung heroes that turn your outdoor signage from a faint glow into a bright, attention-grabbing beacon at night. Essentially compact light blocks equipped with specialized wide-angle beam lenses, they disperse light sideways to ensure channel letters and lightboxes illuminate evenly from every angle without hotspots. In our LED technology range, you will find energy-efficient, highly reliable modules built with high ingress protection that easily withstand heavy rain and harsh weather.

LED modules designed for signmaking and applications not only in light and 3D advertising, their use is versatile and can be used for example in the architectural and decorative lighting of interiors and exteriors.
The LED modules are compact and mechanically anchored to the substrate, so they are resistant to all shocks and other external influences. LED modules can be powered alternately or DC.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
How far apart should the modules be so that "hot spots" are not visible?
This depends on how deep your box is. Modern modules feature wide-angle lenses (often 160° or more), meaning fewer are needed and they can be spaced further apart. A general rule of thumb is that the spacing between modules should be roughly equal to the distance between the module and the front plexiglass. If your box is 10 cm deep, place them approximately 10 cm apart.
Can the modules withstand freezing winters and summer heat on a roof?
Without a problem. High-quality LED modules are completely encased in plastic (often rated IP67), making them immune to dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures. They are engineered to shine reliably for years even in the harshest outdoor conditions without forcing you to climb up with a ladder.
What is the difference between a lens module and a standard module?
Modules with lenses are the modern standard—the lens "spreads" the light wide, which is ideal for illuminating a surface evenly. Traditional modules without lenses tend to project light forward in a focused point, making them suitable only for very deep structures or direct lighting effects. Lens modules will ultimately save you money because you need fewer of them for the same area.
What is the best way to attach modules to the substrate?
Each module features high-quality double-sided adhesive tape on the back, which is sufficient for quick positioning. However, for permanent installation (especially outdoors), we always recommend securing the modules with a small screw or a drop of adhesive. The tape can degrade over time due to temperature fluctuations, but a screw will hold the module in place forever.
