The menu includes LED Dimmers, RGB Controls, Amplifiers, Effect Modules, Twilight and Timer Switches. The great advantage of LEDs as light sources is their easy control of their light - they can be dimmed or create RGB effect sets. The LEDs do not have any delays when switching on and off, and they respond immediately to the control. Twilight switches for automatic switching of lights on dimming. Light switches are very suitable for energy saving and can be combined with time switches. Do not hesitate to contact us with help in choosing the right electronics for your LED system.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I dim LED strips even if I don't need to change the atmosphere?
Dimming is not just about mood, but also about money and lifespan. When an LED strip doesn't run constantly at 100% power, it heats up less, significantly extending the lifespan of both the chips and the power supply. Moreover, even a slight reduction in brightness that the eye barely notices can bring interesting savings on electricity bills.
What is the difference between RF (radio frequency) and Wi-Fi control?
RF controllers operate on radio waves and you don't need to point them directly at the receiver (they work even through walls or cabinet doors). Wi-Fi control adds another level of comfort – you can control lights directly from your smartphone or tablet, set schedules, or connect them to voice assistants even when you're not at home.
What does "zone control" mean and what is it good for?
Imagine having a backlit bookshelf, TV wall, and drop ceiling in your living room. Thanks to a zone controller, you can control all these areas with a single remote – either each separately or turning them all on at once with a single press. This saves you from having a table full of different remote controllers and keeps everything neatly under your control.
How do I know if the controller can handle the power of my LED strips?
Every controller has a specified maximum current (in Amperes) that can flow through it. It's a simple equation: you divide the power of your strip (W) by the voltage (12V or 24V) to get the required current. If the strip is too long and the controller couldn't "handle" it, don't despair – LED signal amplifiers are used to safely distribute the power.
Can 230V lighting be controlled as well, or is it just for strips?
In our assortment, you will find solutions for both worlds. While strips most commonly use direct current (DC) control between the power supply and the strip, we also offer dimmers and systems for 230V fixtures. The only important thing to watch out for is that the fixture or LED bulb itself is marked as "dimmable".
