Clear Plexiglass
Clear acrylic glass (clear PMMA sheets) is primarily used in signmaking, advertising fabrication, and the construction industry. Transparent acrylic is a versatile material offering high durability and wide application flexibility. Ideal for creative projects, shop display windows, protective screens, or designer decorations, it delivers outstanding optical clarity, easy handling, and light weight, making it a perfect alternative to traditional glass. It is an optimal choice for advertising, architecture, and design wherever maximum transparency is required. We supply transparent PMMA sheets with light transmission of up to 93%, which are both lighter and more shatter-resistant than standard glass. Featuring high UV stability and a 10-year warranty against yellowing, they are exceptionally suited for outdoor and indoor applications. Precision custom cut-to-size service is, of course, guaranteed.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose clear plexiglass as a substitute for traditional glass?
Plexiglass is up to half the weight of glass while exhibiting much higher impact resistance, which minimizes the risk of shattering. In addition, it offers top-tier light transmission and significantly easier processing directly at the installation site.
What about the lifespan of clear plexiglass in direct sunlight?
The PMMA sheets we supply are naturally UV-stable, which prevents them from becoming brittle or losing their optical properties. We provide a standard 10-year warranty against yellowing on clear variants, making them fully suitable for long-term outdoor projects.
What are the options for processing and edge polishing?
The material can be easily cut, drilled, and thermoformed into desired shapes according to your needs. To achieve a perfectly clean look, we offer professional edge polishing or flame polishing, which gives the material a high aesthetic gloss.
What material thickness should I choose for a specific project?
For smaller advertising signs, a thickness of 3 to 4 mm is most commonly used, while for large-format barriers, we recommend 5 mm and more. In our Zlín warehouse, we stock a wide range of thicknesses from 2 mm up to robust 20 mm sheets.
