Altuglas acrylic is a high-quality sheet material, 5 mm thick and measuring 2030 x 2020 mm, offering a wide range of transparency levels—from completely clear through opal to fully opaque white. This product weighs half as much as traditional glass, yet provides excellent mechanical and optical properties, including 50% light transmission in the opal variant designed specifically for LED systems.

A major advantage of this material is its exceptional ease of processing, as the sheets can be easily cut, drilled, glued, and thermoformed at temperatures between 165 and 190 °C. As a result, it finds a wide range of applications in the manufacture of furniture, store fixtures, illuminated advertising signs, POP/POS displays, as well as in the production of machine covers and skylights. The material also features a maximum continuous use temperature of 85 °C and falls under fire reaction class E. To maintain optimal quality prior to processing, it is equipped with a protective film and must be stored in a dry indoor environment on flat surfaces.
