FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the uniqueness of the 100% aluminum structure of ALP Bond A2+?
Unlike conventional composites with a mineral core, the center of these sheets consists of a specially profiled aluminum layer. This ensures not only extreme class A2 fire resistance, but also lower weight while maintaining the exceptional rigidity and strength of the entire panel.
Where is the use of these all-aluminum sandwich panels most appropriate?
Thanks to the zero content of flammable substances, ALP Bond A2+ panels are designed primarily for ventilated facades of high-rise buildings and public facilities with maximum safety requirements. They are also ideal for interiors of hospitals or shopping centers where legislation requires certified non-combustible materials.
Can ALP Bond A2+ be processed just like standard composite sheets?
Yes, despite the all-aluminum construction, these panels can be precisely cut, drilled, and V-grooved for subsequent bending into facade cassettes. In our Zlín center, we provide professional CNC milling and sizing to exact dimensions according to your specific drawings.
What is the main difference between the FR version and ALP Bond A2+?
While the FR version contains flame retardants in its mineral core, ALP Bond replaces the core with pure aluminum, completely eliminating flammable components. This material offers the highest possible degree of protection and excellent ecological recyclability, which is key for modern sustainable construction.
