How well does this milky plexiglass diffuse light?
A 10 mm thick sheet creates a very soft and uniform lighting effect that is exceptionally easy on the eyes. Even when using very powerful LED sources, individual diodes remain perfectly concealed, and you will see only a beautifully glowing surface without distracting hotspots.
Is it difficult to cut or drill such a thick material?
The material is worked similarly to solid wood, though you need to watch out for heating during cutting. It is best to have the sheets professionally custom-cut directly by us, but if you drill yourself, simply use a sharp tool and lower pressure for a clean result.
What maintenance does the milky surface require to stay beautiful?
For routine cleaning, lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and a non-scratching soft microfiber cloth is sufficient. Furthermore, opal plexiglass is highly resistant to aging and UV radiation, ensuring it retains its pure white color even in demanding environments for many years.
