Electronic ballasts
Fully electronic component, does not contain any transformers, only circuits. The electronic ballast operates at a higher frequency, making it less blinking for the human eye. Lightweight advertising is highly recommended. It must be plugged in exactly as directed.
The electronic ballast does not need a starter and starts with so-called quick ignition. Better ballasts with a warm start that saves the fluorescent lamp. The advantage is especially high efficiency and low weight.
