DC power supplies are used for LED modules, LED strips and high-power LEDs with the so-called POWER LED (with a current above 300mA). The source types deliver a constant current regardless of what voltage they have to produce.
In practice, these supplies are used for special LED applications in light advertising or LEDs with the highest efficiency. LEDs are connected serially in series to the chain. All the LEDs then flow through the same common nominal current. The number of LEDs in the chain must be selected such that the sum of the voltage in the permeable direction of the diodes at a given current is within the control range of the current source.
