Starter 4 / Sylvania / Tandem / 22 W
For all fluorescent lamps containing electromagnetic choke. SINGL starters are used to connect one tube to one choke. TANDEM starters are used when two tubes are connected to one choke.
The starter is connected to the fluorescent lamp through the glowing filaments. Through the current, the bimetallic contact in the starter disconnects and the choke delivers a voltage pulse that illuminates the tube.
