Crystal-clear sealing compound that meets the high demands of optoelectronics. The complete encapsulation or fitting of the LED assembly provides the best protection against corrosion, weathering and humidity, especially when exposed in extremely aggressive conditions where conventional sealing compounds and thin-film lacquers are not sufficiently resistant. Whether colorless, crystal clear or highly transparent sealing resin, it meets high performance requirements in terms of optical properties, even when exposed to moisture, frost or direct sunlight, such as light commercials or outdoor lighting.

Encapsulated with WEPURAN VT 3402 KK Crystal Clear Resin Resin Resins, it enables reliable use of LED diodes in indoor and outdoor environments. These sealing compounds are available in a variety of hardness / flexibility options. Thanks to its extraordinary water and solution resistance, it is very suitable for a variety of underwater applications.

The specially developed sealing compound for watering the LEDs in WEPURAN VT 3402 KK-ALU aluminum profiles is characterized by the perfect adhesion to various aluminum surfaces. Due to its high hardness, Shore provides extraordinary mechanical protection.

WEPURAN VT 3402 KK-NV-SV has been approved according to UL 94 UL No. E99285, achieves the best V-0 flammability standards. This is why it is a good choice for light electronic applications where the resilience to material flammability, such as emergency lighting in tunnels or buildings, is crucial. Optional emollient admixtures and various dye concentrations are suitable for creating individual light effects or specific colors. Particularly to achieve a mild and even dispersion, WEPURAN Top Coat VT 3492 LS opaque sealing compound can be applied as a second layer.
